Tube down 700-foot snow packed lanes and return to the top via the Magic Carpet Lift. No experience needed and it’s fun for all ages. Tube rental included. The Tubing Park is located across the street from the Sugar Mountain Resort Ski Lodge – on part of the golf course. The Ice Skating Rink is adjacent. The park offers lights for night tubing, regularly groomed lanes and snowmaking. Sessions are just under two hours long and open everyday (usually 10 am-10 pm), weather permitting.

Tubing 2-hour sessions at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm. Buy tickets at the park – going on sale one hour prior to each session. No online tickets. Children 6 and under must ride with an adult. Usually open December through March, depending on weather. Snow guns and groomers keep it in great shape.

2023-24 Tubing Rates

  • Ages 5 & Up: $36 Weekdays & $45 Weekends / holiday periods including Dec 14-Jan 1.
  • Ages 3 & 4 free with adult.
  • March Madness rates after March 4 are $27/$34.
  • Opened for season on Dec 15th – open every day unless warm weather interferes.

Tip: The parking area for tubing often fills up on busy weekends. You can also park in resort remote parking areas and ride the free shuttle to the lodge across the street.

  • A limited number of tubing tickets are sold per session. No more than six (6) tickets per person may be purchased at a time. Tickets for each session go on sale one hour prior to the start of the session and are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
  •  Must be 3 years of age or older to tube.
  •  Children 6 and under must ride/share a tube with an adult.
  •  Children 7 and 8 must be under the direct supervision of an adult.
  •  All children 11 and under must have a waiver/release signed by a parent or guardian prior to purchasing a tubing ticket.
  •  Recommended clothing consists of warm outer clothing, hat, gloves/mittens, and durable shoes. Ski boots are not allowed on the tubing runs.
