The Sugar Mountain Police Department is charged with keeping the Village streets safe and protecting the property interests of all of our residents and guests. The department works a 24-hour day schedule, 365 days per year. The department is constantly patrolling Village roads, conducting home and business checks, directing traffic, and assisting all other local law enforcement agencies.

If you have any questions for the department or need any type of non-emergency assistance, please call them at (828) 898-4349 or stop by their office located at 251 Dick Trundy Lane (Police Department is located inside Village Hall).

The Department consists of the Chief, David Henson and 3 full-time patrol officers: Casey Turbyfill, Ben Townsend and Kevin Gardner.
