Located in the downtown village shops of Banner Elk. With seven big flat screens, Barra allows you to see your favorite sports teams or major events in an upscale setting with family or friends. Old timey, Boston style wood bar complimented by Miami style art decor with a mountain Indian flair. Outside in the courtyard many people gather and sit around the fire pit while they talk and enjoy a cocktail.

Reid’s Cafe and Catering

At the base of Grandfather Mountain, Reid’s is centrally located in Sugar Mountain, NC. Just as we value beautiful ingredients in our catering, the café will procure the highest quality of seasonal ingredients for their rotating daily menus. We value the handmade and fashion from scratch details as small as the aioli and dressings we use, to house made focaccias and pastries, slow roasted meats and naturally fermented pickles. We avoid industrially grown and processed foods. We love the intentional, the specific, the well-cared-for.
